Singh started dancing at the age of 10 and is currently leading the only happening ‘Bhangra’ crew in the Middle East, Pure Bhangra. Hardy founded the team in November 2011, and he hasn’t looked back since then!
He has been performing professionally for over 15 years in this dance form and has been taking Bhangra workshops all around the world! As a professional trainer, Hardy is capable of hosting hourly Bhangra workshops as well as personalized and corporate ones. Moreover, he has also traveled around the world for judging various Bhangra competitions such as ‘Bhangra Dance Off’ in Malaysia, ‘Bhangra Auckland Da’ in New Zealand, ‘Youth Fest’ for Middlesex University and more in UAE. Hardeep started off with 7 members in his team and now his team has over 30 crew members who are all in process of learning and on the path of becoming professional Bhangra trainers. He along with his team has hosted Bhangra workshops not only all over the UAE but also in Muscat and in Delhi. Through his outreach into the Punjabi film industry, Hardy has also been a part of a couple of music videos. Today, Hardeep is based in Dubai and is training all ‘Bhangra’ enthusiasts at the Sharmila Dance Academy.
